1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
My favourite jacket is the Trent, and my favourite pants are the Baron in black because the fit is awesome, and they're nice and light and warm. For gloves, the Boler. Nice and cozy. For goggles, the Feston. It's a new model, and I'm really hyped on the look, the fit, and the quality of the lenses.
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
All of those things matter. The fit, style, functionality, color, and quality. And I think HF is killing it in all those things.
3. You said fit, style, functionality, color, and quality all matter. Rate your mustache on all five.
Haha, 10 on all five, of course!

1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
Morris and Baron for outerwear, Tarp for goggles, and Cornell for gloves. I love the Morris for its old-school vibes, the Baron because they're baggy and cozy, the Tarp is just a solid piece of eyewear, and the Cornell gloves because they keep me warm when it's cold but aren't too hot when it's warmer outside. All in all, this setup makes me feel good on my snowboard.
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
Obviously, all of them. And that's an easy combo to find with HF. You've got all those boxes ticked. And if you add all that up, you feel good and ride good.
3. If your riding had a BPM, what would it be and why?
My riding BPM is around 132. It's up there to charge and go hard when needed, but low enough to cruise and enjoy the moments.

1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
I like that you guys are bringing back the vintage style and colours. My go-to pieces are the Baron pants and Morris jacket. I'm also stoked about the new Trent jacket. I'll probably give it a try this upcoming season. It looks pretty sick, especially in the Storm colourway. There are new Selim baggy pants coming this season as well. Stoked to see how they'll fit my riding.
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
Style is the most important, of course. But since I live in Lapland and it gets extremely cold here sometimes, I really need the clothes I wear to keep me warm while snowboarding and standing in the lift line.
3. You live in Lapland. How cold is too cold to ride? Give us the number.
I think -20 to -25°C is already way too cold. Under that, it's fine.

1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
It's really hard to pick just one favourite piece, but for me, the Terra jacket is the best. I love the fit, and the technical material feels great and works perfectly in all weather conditions, from heavy snowfall to spring riding. The design is just awesome and exactly what I like.
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
Nowadays, the most important thing when choosing my gear is the fit, followed by functionality and the material. The design is important as well, but I'm not a fashion victim, so a simple design is just ideal. And that's why the Terra jacket works perfectly for me.
3. Where does “Gruba Libre” come from, and how many Cuba Libres were involved?
Well, Gruba Libre goes back to the early 2000s and my first surf trip to Panama. That's where I discovered the real Cuba Libre, made with really good rum, fresh lime, and lots of ice. Compared to a regular rum and Coke, it was so refreshing and good. Throughout the trip, I always brought a good bottle of Abuelo rum, and everything else was available at the different spots. I never drank crazy amounts, but a good Cuba Libre was always refreshing after a great day of surfing. I brought two bottles of good rum back home as a memory of that amazing trip. At the time, I didn't have a board sponsor, so we (Ästhetiker) decided to make some boards. I was working on the project and needed to come up with a name. Gruba Libre was just perfect! Our local bar even renamed their Cuba Libre to Gruba Libre, which made me proud. Never too many, but just enough! ;)

1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
My favourite pants this year are definitely the purple Baron Baggy pants in XXL. I've always wanted to rock a nice pair of purple baggy pants, and this year HF made it happen! They're a perfect match with my black signature FBW hoodie, and I'm hyped to be repping this combo all winter! I'm also really hyped to try the new Selim pants. I heard they're even baggier, lol. Those are gonna be good. As for jackets, I can't really pick a favourite because I wear hoodies no matter what, haha. And when it gets really cold, I might throw on the Aiden vest as an extra layer. My favourite pair of sunnies has to be the Merlin. They're just super stylish, and of course, they're black.
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
I gotta say style over functionality, for sure. If you feel good, you ride good, you know? Riding in a hoodie just makes me feel so much freer than wearing a jacket. It gives me that same feeling as skating, which I really love.
3. Be honest: Is there any weather that would actually get you out of the hoodie and into a proper outerwear jacket?
Okay, I’m not completely immune to the cold… just almost, haha. If we’re talking proper freezing temperatures, like -15°C or colder, I might finally give in and throw on the new Elias puffer jacket. That thing looks so sick that I might actually want to wear a proper jacket for once. And if we get a proper pow day, which, let’s be honest, happens about once every couple of years for me, I guess I’d consider wearing a technical jacket. Mostly to avoid turning into a frozen snowman after a couple of pow sprays. I might even swap the sunnies for goggles, too. But let’s not get carried away. That’s a worst-case scenario, and I’d prefer we keep it off the record, haha.

1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
My favourite piece is the Baron pants. I like their clean look and relaxed fit. They're easy to wear, versatile, and work well with different outfits. I also like the Morris Jacket for when it's cold outside but you still want to ride rails in style, and the Morten sweatshirt for endless sessions at the fridge.
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
Style and comfort are what I look for most. I like pieces that have a strong look while still feeling effortless to wear.
3. Pharmacist by day, rail rider the rest of the time. Write us your prescription for the perfect slam.
Lack of sleep – 500 mg, overconfidence – 250 mg, and a questionable decision to ride the hardest features available.

1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
My favourite piece is probably the Morris jacket in the Tarmac colourway. Somehow, the colour and design just hit me! The Baron pants in Tarmac or black are just simple and beautiful. With that fit, the Greg beanie with the smiley fits like a nose on a face. Pair that combo with the black Tarpe goggles and black Snyder gloves, and you're the steeziest guy on the hill!
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
When I choose my fit, style definitely comes first, but fit is just as important. Because good style with a bad fit just doesn't fit, if you know what I mean, hahaha.
3. As a Finnsbrucker, what’s the one Finnish thing Innsbruck is still missing?
Very traditional things that only exist in Finland, like ruisleipä (rye bread), salmiakki, karjalanpiirakka, and a proper sauna.

1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
Hard choice! Either the Terra jacket, as it's super lightweight yet so technical, or the new updated Baron pants. They're so comfy and everything I want from a pair of pants.
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
Fit. It needs to sit comfortably around the body, not restrict movement, and feel natural.
3. Game of R.A.I.L. against any HF rider. Who are you calling out, and what’s your first trick?
Probably Halldór. He was my GOAT growing up, so it’d have to be him. First trick… Hmm, depends on the day, but on a nice slushy day, probably a switch back tail 2.

1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
Definitely the Nelson pants – my favourites for any terrain. Technical, with a really cool fit. Jacket... can I pick two? Haha. The Morris jacket for the park. It's a technical piece that allows freedom of movement, with a really cool, loose fit for colder days in the park. But for off-piste and deep snow, the Terra is my choice. Highly waterproof and lightweight. Perfect for any conditions out there. It protects you on stormy days without ever feeling heavy. It features heat-sealed zippers. A must-have for me. Midway gloves. Mittens, always – haha! Super comfortable and warm. And Feston goggles. I love the frame shape.
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
When choosing my gear, I need two things. First, it has to be technical. I spend a lot of time in the mountains, so it's really important to wear quality gear that protects you in the worst conditions while still allowing total freedom of movement. And obviously (hehe), it needs a cool fit – maybe leaning towards baggy, but not excessively so.
3. You said, “Mittens, always.” Okay, make your case: why are glove people wrong? :D
Easy, because with mittens you can flip someone off very discreetly when you get mad!! Hahaha. No, but really, I think they're faster, more comfortable, and warmer.

1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
The Terra jacket is my favourite piece! That 3L jacket is super stylish and, at the same time, technically performs like it was made for mountaineering! It works in almost every condition on the mountain, whether it's just chill riding or going on big adventures!
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
Functionality is the most important thing for me, and if it's already combined with a nice fit and stylish colours, it's a win-win for me!
3. Last time we asked, you said your hidden talent was burping like a dinosaur. Has it evolved?
Hahaha, yeah, I've gotten a little better at it thanks to more experience over the years.
Adrian Formella
1. What's your favorite piece from the new HF outerwear collection, and what makes it your go-to?
My favourite pieces are the Baron pants combined with the Morris jacket. I think they go super nicely together, and the colours match perfectly.
2. When choosing your outerwear, what matters most to you – fit, style, functionality, or something else?
Pretty much all of those things are important to me. I always adjust my HF outfit to the conditions we're having. On cold powder days, I go for a jacket like the Pearl, and on warmer days, I wear the Morris jacket. That way, I get perfect functionality with good style on top of that.
3. You’ve photographed most of the riders in this article. Who’s the hardest one to get a good shot of?
I think definitely Fabi, because he's the most critical rider of himself I know… Everything has to be perfect for him to be happy with a photo, and he often does tricks that work better on video than in photos.
