The UltraTech® material manufacturers have their production processes and composition of the components assessed according to the bluesign® criteria to optimize sustainability.
These extremely durable, easy to use, high-quality zippers are currently the global leader for performance outerwear applications. Being smooth to operate and with less tendency to catch, or malfunction, these zippers can be easily operated even in the coldest conditions.
Coats have been manufacturing threads for over 250 years, which means their thread range results from decades of innovation and constant improvement. This results in some of the strongest, highly durable, and most reliable threads ever manufactured.
DWR coating repels water, causing it to “bead up” on the outer surface and stops it from penetrating the outermost layer. We are using the C0 treatment. As a PFC-free alternative, it breaks down naturally and helps avoid long-term chemical buildup in the environment, water systems, and food chains—delivering reliable performance with lower impact.

Chinguard with brushed fleece
The chinguard prevents the zipper from coming into contact with your neck. The fleece material ensures the thermal comfort.

This product is packaged in a recycled bag made from LDPE waste.
The packaging in which we pack our streetwear pieces is made from the waste of classic LDPE packaging. They are manufactured close to the textile factory, again minimizing transport and thus eliminating CO2 emissions. We have also managed to reduce the size of the package by about half by smartly folding our products, which again saves emissions and space during transport.
